Iconic DCW dining side chair in Oak plywood. The oak veneer is in good condition with nice patina and minor user marks. Early Herman Miller production from September 1953 (4-2-5 screw configuration), just after Herman Miller took over production from Evans Products Company, Molded Plywood division. This DCW version with Oak veneer was shortly in production from 1952-1954 and is much harder to find then the more common ash, birch or walnut veneer. Signed with date stamp and impressed letters DCW in the frame. Also the manufacture decal is present, but unfortonatly no longer readable.
